We believe that health is an ambition of everyone. Through this services, we hope to reach every segement of the community with basic health needs he/she deserves. Acheiving this is possible and we in WOHED use local blended approaches from human-centered perspectives, community dialogues and rapid inquiries to address the key root causes of health inequalities.

Our services package in health include:

Promotion of women's and girl’s sexual and Reproductive Health through Education, advocacy and capacity building especially on matters related to Fistula, Teenage Pregnancy, Abortion, Sexually Transmitted Infections and HIV/AIDS

Promotion of good health and hygiene practices and effective health development activities and to be efficient in application of resources for charitable purposes for the benefit of women and girls by associating them in a common effort

Educating and sensitizing rural communities on endemic diseases including HIV and AIDS, malaria, tuberculosis, cancer, asthma and diabetes and provide support for the affected

Empowering young people to make informed decisions about their sexual behavior and to protect themselves against HIV/AIDS and TB infection Working with established rehabilitation centers to assist addicted youths overcome addiction and empower them to develop solutions to the challenges they face

Working with mothers to understand the importance of good nutrition Maternal, Immunization and Child development

Provision of Psychosocial Support to victims of Gender Based Violence by establishing a hope restoration center
