We strive to promote collective bargaining of women and youths by ensuring improved livelihoods, education, ending harmful cultural practices and enhanced quality of life in the community.
Empowering Women for Stronger Communities
Women Education and Health for Development (WOHED) is a non-profit making Non-governmental Organization established in 2012 to support Girl Child Education, Women Empowerment, Public Education and Awareness in order to mitigate challenges among women and young people through community education as a strategy to disseminate, Educate and Inform communities on issues of Health, Education, Food Security, Human Rights, Good Governance, Climate Change, Protection of the Environment, Counter Violence Extremism programs (CVE) and Socio Economic Empowerment.
WHY WE EXIST
To develop the youth and women’s physical, mental and financial capacities with particular emphasis on poverty alleviation by supporting and strengthening their skills and by ensuring that women’s voice, concerns and issues are represented wherever it is most appropriate.
