Mission

To support and strenght the lives and livelihoods of vulnerable members of the society using most sustianbale intervention iin order to reduce the risk of diseases and socio-economic situations among women and youth in Kenya

We are leading women-led organizations

Women Education for Health and Development (WOHED) is a non-profit, women -led organization established since 2012 to serve communities in ASAL counties, Kenya. We are committed to achieving achieving transformation of communities through community-led ideas and solutions for the well-being of women, children and youth.

We do this through local approaches that address key priorities and pressing needs with an aim to infleunce county progress towards sustainable development goals and plans

Nomadic Communities

We have worked with nomadic pastoralist across various counties designing services that can suit their mobile lifestyle while ensuring continued access to social services

Hard-to-reach communties

In every segement of the commmunities there are those are disadvantage due to proximity to and physical constraints. We have cross-border zones where not every other organization can reach
