We belief that all communities have the potential to reach thier highest potential. Through skills development and empowering youth, WOHED believes it can fuel the next generation of access to talents and skills neccessary for everyone to achieve a good life.

Our services on empowerment & skills development include the following:

Improving access to micro-finance (credit) for the less privileged women and youth who do not have collateral securities to obtain loans from financial institutions to boost income generating activities (IGA)

Provision of skills acquisition programs such as Tailoring, Dress making (Knitting), Hair dressing, Hat and Beat making and Computer operation to reduce poverty, create employment opportunities and to promote income generating activities (IGA)

promotion of democracy and gender equality at the grass roots community by mobilizing and building capacity of rural women and youth to participate in politics and socio-economic development

Empowering women and youth towards self-reliance and in order to reduce poverty and improve the quality of life in the community

Reduction of psychological problems among women and children of any type e.g. caused by divorce, death, teenage pregnancies, alcohol and other traumatic incidences through counseling and referral to other like alcohol anonymous recovery centers, among others
