Countering Violent Extremism

We work to build resilient communities by equipping young people with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities needed to resist and counter violent extremism. Our approach includes:

Youth Training on Countering Extremism: We train young people in target communities on effective strategies to resist radicalization and the influence of violent extremist groups

Community Dialogues: We facilitate open and inclusive dialogues with youth and key stakeholders in urban slums and rural villages to collectively address the drivers of violent extremism and develop locally owned solutions

Empowerment for Self-Reliance: We focus on empowering youth—especially girls—with life skills, education, and economic opportunities that enhance their resilience and reduce vulnerability to recruitment by violent groups.
